Cleaning Support

The group focuses on building friendships, confidence and independence through regular social activities and community outings. Participants have the opportunity to engage in conversations, explore shared interests and develop stronger community connections.
Like all Rivergum Support programs, the Men’s Group is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and guided by participant interests.

Do I need to have an NDIS plan to receive support?
Most of our services are provided through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you already have an NDIS plan, we can work with you to provide supports that align with your goals and approved funding. If you’re unsure about your eligibility or how to get started, our team is happy to guide you.
What areas do you service?
Rivergum Support is based in Maryborough, Victoria, and we support participants throughout Maryborough and surrounding communities. If you’re unsure whether we service your area, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to assist.
What types of support do you provide?
We provide a range of disability support services including assistance with daily living, community participation, group supports, and household tasks such as cleaning. Our supports are tailored to each participant’s individual goals and needs.
Can I choose my support worker?
Yes. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the people supporting you. Wherever possible, we aim to match participants with support workers who suit their preferences, interests and support requirements.
How do I get started with Rivergum Support?
Can family members or support coordinators contact you on my behalf?
Absolutely. Family members, carers, and support coordinators are welcome to contact us to discuss supports or make referrals.
Are your staff trained and experienced?
Our support workers are carefully selected and trained to provide compassionate, respectful and professional support. We are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for every participant.
Do you currently have availability for new participants?
We regularly welcome new participants and will always do our best to accommodate your needs. Availability can depend on the type of support required and your location, so we encourage you to contact our team to discuss current openings.
Can supports be adjusted if my needs change?
Yes. We understand that support needs can change over time. Our team works with participants, families and support coordinators to review and adjust services as required to ensure the right level of support is always in place.
Can I meet my support worker before starting services?
Where possible, we aim to introduce participants to their support worker before supports begin. This helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident moving forward.
